The 2017 track season is here and the Sonics are ready to get things ramped up! We will have our first practice sessions this coming Saturday, February 18. The north side practice will be held at 10:00 AM at Klein High School, 16715 Stuebner Airline Rd., Spring, and the south side practice will be at 1:00 PM at Sharpstown High School, 7504 Bissonnet St., Houston. You can expect these sessions to last roughly 90 minutes.
If you’re a first-time visitor, be sure to dress your child(ren) appropriately for the weather and have comfortable running shoes and plenty of water to drink. These sessions won’t be intense; we will just be going through basic conditioning and fundamental running technique. If you are unsure about whether track is going to be the right program to commit your child(ren) to, just bring them out, meet the coaches and we will give them a taste of what it’s all about. There is no commitment to sign up. We will have registration details available if and when you are ready to jump in.
