This week the Sonics will begin holding practice sessions at 6:30 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays at Westbury High School, 11911 Chimney Rock Rd, Houston, TX 77035. This means that on the south side of town we will have practice opportunities every weeknight! However, this does NOT mean that we expect our athletes to add two additional practices to their weekly schedule. But what it does mean is that we have much greater flexibility. With three different south side locations and five evenings available, it should be easier for everyone to get the recommended 2-3 sessions per week to ensure continued development. It also means that when we have our inevitable rain-outs, we will have more options for make-up practice sessions.
