Davon Beckles grabs first Sonics medal in Des Moines

Davon Beckles got the Sonics off to a great start at the AAU Junior Olympics by claiming a medal with his 8th place finish in the 11-year old boys 3000 meter run. His time of 10:42.75 beat his previous best by 13 seconds. See the official results here.
