Jasir Miller has signed a letter of intent to run track at Prairie View A&M University next year. She is currently a senior at Manvel High and specializes in the 400 meters and sprint relay events. She was previously a member of the Sonics during the 2017 season.
Former Sonics athlete, Cesley Williams, has recently announced her commitment to join the University of Houston track program. The senior at Fort Bend Marshall High School is a 400 meter specialist and is the defending Texas 5A champion in that event.
Sonics’ hurdles specialist, Zamari Bruce, was recently ranked the #1 Houston area wide receiver among private schools by VYPE Magazine heading into 2021 fall season. Zamari is entering his senior year at Frassati Catholic High School in Spring.
