The Sonics’ first meet of the 2016 season will be held Saturday, March 12 at Presner Stadium in Pearland at the meet hosted by Pearland Track Xpress. The meet flyer will all the relevant info can be downloaded here. Please attend the meet if you can as this will be an opportunity to start getting times on the athletes and help the coaches begin making assessments as to what are the most appropriate events for them to focus on. Events will begin 9:00 AM and the meet should finish by 3:00 PM. This meet will take the place of the Saturday practice sessions we’ve been having the past few weeks.
For those who are in need of Sonics uniforms, Coach Jackson will be available at Sharpstown High School at 6:00 PM Thursday and Klein High School at 6:00 PM Friday. Alternatively, you may meet with Coach Jackson at the meet venue early Saturday morning to pick them up. The cost for uniforms is $80.
The Sonics’ regular practice schedule beginning next week will be as follows:
North side: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:30 PM at Klein High
South side: Monday (Marshall High), Tuesday and Thursday (Sharpstown High) at 6:30 PM
