The AAU Area 13 National Qualifier meet is coming to Atascocita High School next week beginning Wednesday, June 29 and finishing Saturday, July 2. The event schedule for the meet can be found here (updated 6/18/2011). The top 5 places in individual events and the top 4 in relays and multi-events will earn the right to advance to the National Junior Olympic Games in New Orleans. Sonics coaches are reminding the athletes that this meet will result in some long, hot days on the track, so proper hydration and minimizing exposure to the sun are of critical importance.
